RENEWAL
Redevelopment is a tool that can be used to bring new life to areas. Redevelopment was created by state law to help cities and counties renew themselves. It infuses these communities with the necessary capital, empowering them to take control of distressed areas and orchestrate their regeneration.
FOCUS
NSCD focuses on community engagement and developing partnerships with private developers, businesses, state and federal agencies, non-profit and cultural organizations and neighborhood groups in order to revitalize the area.
