The origin of the North Town project was partially funded with a grant from the Center for Engagement and Community Development, Kansas State University http://www.k-state.edu/cecd/, which supported organizing by North Salina citizen and business volunteers, students, faculty, and staff at Kansas State University- Salina, Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina Technical College, and The City of Salina.
